On boxing day we had a Gruffalo themed party for Pixie’s 2nd birthday
It began with a Gruffalo hunt. We walked to the park, collecting chocolate coins en route and then rescuing the Gruffalo’s child from Gromit the dog (grandpa in disguise)
we ‘chilled’ at the park before returning for afternoon tea
we ate scrambled snake, owl ice cream, gruffalo crumble and an amazing roasted fox birthday cake, complete with marzipan vegetables
we sang happy birthday and finished with a HD showing of the Gruffalo’s child on granny’s widescreen tele
